 SalDan Developments Ltd. is a residential construction and development company with locations in Sault Sainte Marie and Sudbury. The company also provides commercial construction and management services throughout many parts of Ontario.
Incorporated in 1981 by President and sole owner of the company, Sam Biasucci, SalDan Developements Ltd. has been building quality homes at affordable prices for over 29 years. Over the years, the company has diversified to address all aspects of construction while maintaining a strong presence in the construction of single family homes. This has allowed the company to become one of the largest residential contractors in Northern Ontario with a stronghold in Sault Sainte Marie by building a record 152 homes in 1989 and 215 multiple and single residential homes in 1992. With a change in the economy, management redirected some of its attention to the broader market of multiple family homes, renovations and commercial construction to acheive the desired sales volume. This action also necessitated a move to obtain and attract contracts in areas outside of Sault Sainte Mare. In particular, the Sudbury area has produced excellent and continuing sales activity. We have established and are currently running a construction office at 112 Sunrise Ridge Drive in Sudbury, Ontario. SalDan provides substantial change to the construction methods in Sudbury by being the exlusive builder to provide fully poured reinforced concrete foundations, as opposed to concrete blocks. With the onset of commercial activities, SalDan Inc. was formed to July 3, 1990 to undertake these contracts. The companies have still had the capablity in most difficult economic times to expand sales on a profitable basis. In 2000, SalDan Developements began providing commercial construction management services. With this additon, the addition of a new central office became necessary. Toronto was the choice for the new office and is presently located at 1650 Avenue Road. |
